58 mm (standard E61 portafilters and other commercial machines) wood coffee distributor to evenly distribute coffee grounds in the portafilter and provide a little compression to make for an easy, level tamp. Uneven tamps will lead to channeling which ruins the taste of your espresso drinks.
This tool is height-adjustable, through rotation of the body. It also utilizes a 3 leaf design for greater efficiency in grounds distribution.
