Acaia Pearl / Pearl S Scale Mat made from 304 Stainless Steel, fully waterproof. 3M Non-slip strips included to prevent mat from slipping on the scale.
I designed this because I was annoyed with the looks of the original acaia rubber mat, especially on the white pearl. The grooves also makes it difficult to clean. The steel design is to match the aesthetics of my recently acquired Fellow Stagg Kettle which is white with steel accents. It is crafted with a single sheet of 1mm thick steel and follows the exact dimensions of the original cover. It is strong, rigid and doesn't slip due to the non-slip strips and increased weight.

Care Instructions for steel:
Take note of any metal on metal contact as it will wear down over time.
Small surface imperfections can form over time, especially with metal on metal contact. Less so with plastic or wood related materials.
Minor imperfections can be buffed out by running buffing tool parallel to the steel pattern, creating a brushed steel finish
